  1. It’s terribly easy to take shots at Roy Spence. Hell, he paints the target FOR you. But for being a foundational force behind an agency that for all rights shouldn’t even exist in an advertising backwater like Austin, this guy has earned it. I don’t work at G:IC, and frankly don’t want to. But if you’re doing major brand work in this town, you owe some chits to this guy for making it possible.
