Enfatico Letter to Employees

“To The Global Enfatico Team –

Following Dell’s recent reorganization and recognizing that there are some remaining capability gaps within Enfatico, we’ve engaged in discussions with WPP to determine the best long-term solution for adapting to the financial downturn, Dell’s modified budgets and the need to offer a broader mix of capabilities to our expanding client base. As a result of these discussions and after careful consideration, we’ve made the decision to align ourselves with WPP’s Y&R family of brands.

As a part of Y&R Brands, Enfatico will continue to drive the Dell business and offer integrated support for its marketing needs. We will remain a standalone brand alongside Y&R’s other companies including Y&R Advertising, Wunderman, Burson-Marsteller, Landor and others. Our relationship with our Y&R partners will broaden our potential resource base and position us to provide quicker, cost-efficient responses to needs we are not scaled to meet. Given the economic environment, we believe this is a wise and prudent approach that allows us to tap existing capacity rather than seeking to fill these talent gaps through external recruiting exclusively.

This decision does not change who we are as an agency and will only strengthen our relationship with Dell and other clients. Both Dell and WPP have reinforced their commitment to Enfatico and we remain focused on redefining marketing communications through better cross-discipline integration, advanced analytics and cost efficient execution delivered on a global scale. Over the coming days, the senior leadership of your local office will be in touch to provide more context on this shift and to answer any questions.

In the first year since our inception we have made incredible progress against our goals. In addition to launching four major integrated marketing campaigns including the recent Adamo and 11G launches, we developed Dell’s first global marketing mix model, generated significant media savings, and implemented a number of technology and automation tools that continue to drive efficiencies. These accomplishments are in addition to the immense day-to-day activity that supports Dell’s results on a global basis.

Going forward, our focus remains on delivering business-building impact for Dell, for Progress Software and for additional clients as we continue to diversify and grow. We soon will have more news on the new business front and we have a number of strong leads in the pipeline.

I believe wholeheartedly in the potential of our model and I’m confident the alignment with Y&R Brands will lead to future growth and new opportunities for each of you and our organization. Many thanks again for your tireless efforts, commitment and fantastic work.

All the best –”
