Innovative Advertising and Marketing Firms

The March 2009 issue of Fast Company magazine features “innovative companies”. The issues contains list upon list of companies in various categories, but we only care about those in marketing and advertising, right?

Here’s their lists of “the most innovative companies in Advertising and Marketing”:

  1. Saatchi S is a joke. They just had massive layoffs and are smaller than they were before Saatchi bought them. (When they were Act Now Productions.)

    I’m not kidding when I say no one there has ANY advertising or marketing experience. They’re all former Peace Corps volunteers or youth ministers. They had a few ad people, but laid them all off.

    They have no clue what they’re doing. Adam’s just selling his snake oil again. They haven’t won any new biz in months except internal projects for big Saatchi.

    I think big Saatchi is realizing they got duped. Before the year is up they’ll have laid off everyone except Adam and rolled him into a consultant position in big Saatchi.
