Spring(box) Fling

I attended the Springbox 4th anniversary party last night. Springbox was founded by two ex-T3/Dell guys, Adam Moore and Dan Isaacs, and was recently bought-out by New York-based Viewpoint.

I had a good time chatting it up with one of the newest Springboxer Myles Rose, Springbox recruiter Amy Holt, and Springbox client R. Scott Harris of Premiere Global.

The Springbox Blossom was the special drink of the night. Supposedly, they come up with a new/special drink for each of their parties. I didn’t try it but lots of folks seemed to be enjoying theirs, or at least they were acting like they were enjoying them.

The event was held at the Arthouse at the Jones Center which current is holding a exhibition that has something to do with gardening as there were several racks with trays of seedlings in the front window area of the space. That got me thinking of the Ricky Nelson song Garden Party. While the songs lyrics have next to nothing to do with the event, it’s a good song none-the-less:

“I went to a garden party to reminisce with my old friends
A chance to share old memories and play our songs again
When I got to the garden party, they all knew my name
No one recognized me, I didn’t look the same”

Thanks for the cool event and I wish Springbox many more years of anniversary parties.
